LXCL:The TCBA Charitable Foundation empowers young adults by promoting skilled trades careers through hands-on training, scholarships, and workforce programs, bridging the gap in the workforce and inspiring the next generation of builders.

We invite you to participate in the Careers in Construction Week Career Fair, where you&#39;ll have the opportunity to connect directly with young adults who have spent the week exploring careers in the skilled trades. Participants, ages 18-30, will have rotated through 12 different trades throughout the week, gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of career paths in the construction industry. Some participants have also completed OSHA-10 training offered through the program, adding an industry-recognized credential to their resumes.Attendees come from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. Some are exploring the trades for the first time, while others have previous work experience and are actively seeking employment opportunities. Employers are encouraged to discuss available positions, internships, apprenticeships, and career pathways. If you find a strong candidate, you are welcome to hire on the spot. Please bring any promotional materials, job applications, hiring information, or company displays you would like to share with participants. To assist with event planning, please let us know how many from your company will be attending, as a complimentary box lunch will be provided for all employer participants. We appreciate your support in helping connect the next generation of skilled trades professionals with career opportunities in our industry.

Join us for a tour of Careers in Construction Week at the IRSC Massey Campus, Building O (Eastman Advanced Workforce Training Complex) off Cortez Blvd. You&#39;ll get a behind-the-scenes look at young adults participating in hands-on construction training and have the opportunity to meet the Treasure Coast Builders Association members who are leading the instruction. Whether you&#39;re an employer, educator, community leader, parent, or simply interested in learning more about careers in the skilled trades, this is a great opportunity to experience the energy and impact of the program firsthand. Tours are free, but registration is requested so we can be prepared to welcome you and show you around.
