Upcycle Parts Shop

Upcycle Parts Shop promotes sustainability through creative reuse by providing workshops and resources that empower the community to transform discarded materials into new, functional art and products, fostering creativity and environmental responsibility.

Art for Wellness is a free community-based therapeutic art program for participants of all ages* that explores creativity as a tool for well-being, self-expression, and connection. Using repurposed and reclaimed materials, participants will engage in guided art experiences that promote mindfulness, emotional wellness, and community building while discovering new possibilities in everyday objects. These events encourage shared creative experiences and opportunities to practice wellness skills together. Art Therapy Studio connects people with the healing power of art therapy. Their goal is to empower those they serve to reach their full potential while minimizing financial barriers to mental health services. Upcycle Parts Shop is proud to collaborate with them to introduce our community to the services they offer.&nbsp; *This is an all-ages community wellness program:<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Children ages 5&ndash;18 are welcome when accompanied and supervised by a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult throughout the event.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">This is not a drop-off program.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">To help maintain a welcoming and safe environment for participants of all ages, attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and in a manner appropriate for a shared community space where children and families may be present.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants whose behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, or interferes with the experience of others may be asked to leave the program.</li></ul>

Please note that this workshop is NOT being presented as part of Cheryl&#39;s work as an art therapist. Matchbox Museums and Tiny Worlds - Saturdays on St. Clair Free Workshop Series

Saturdays on St. Clair is a workshop series designed for our community to explore creative reuse, learn upcycling techniques, and see everyday materials in a new way! Thank you to Cuyahoga Arts &amp; Culture for helping Upcycle Parts Shop secure grant funding to keep this workshop free!&nbsp; In Embroidered Postcard Art with Zoe Appleby, participants will learn how to create mixed-media artworks from postcards and embroidery floss. Teens and Adults are welcome! Embroidered Postcard Art - Saturdays on St. Clair Free Workshop Series

✨Three days of upcycling magic!✨ Upcycle Summer Camp invites kids aged 8 and up to turn trash into treasure! Campers will explore sustainability through hands-on projects using donated materials from our shop that are ready for their next purpose! The camp runs for three days from 12:00-3:00pm. Guardians are not required to stay for the duration of the camp. Please bring a reusable water bottle. A snack will be provided. By registering, you&rsquo;re supporting Upcycle Parts Shop&rsquo;s mission to provoke creativity and promote community through reuse, resourcefulness, and relationships and helping kids see environmental stewardship as something they can practice with their own two hands. Projects will include:&bull; T-shirt Surgery&bull; Bottle Blossoms&bull; Cardboard Treasure Chests&bull; Paper Pulp Painting&bull; And more! More information will be sent via email such as materials you can collect at your own home, emergency contacts, and more.&nbsp;

All ages are welcome! Saturdays on St. Clair is a workshop series designed for our community to explore creative reuse, learn upcycling techniques, and see everyday materials in a new way!
