USA Team Handball promotes and develops the sport of handball in the U.S., fostering competitive opportunities and supporting national teams to excel on the international stage, including pathways to the Olympics and World Championships.

USA Team Handball&rsquo;s Men&rsquo;s National Team is coming to Sioux City for the opening step on the road to LA28. Team USA will face Canada in a two-game qualifier series at Long Lines Arena in downtown Sioux City, with matches set for Friday, Aug. 7 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 8 at 3:00 p.m. The winner of the series will advance to the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, which serve as the Olympic qualifying event for men&rsquo;s handball across North and South America. Fresh off a gold-medal performance at the North American &amp; Caribbean Championship, the U.S. Men&rsquo;s National Team will look to continue its momentum in front of home fans as Olympic qualification officially begins. The weekend will also celebrate the growth of handball in Siouxland, including Briar Cliff University&rsquo;s anticipated role in launching the first varsity men&rsquo;s and women&rsquo;s collegiate handball programs in the United States and community opportunities for local youth athletes to try the sport and meet Team USA players. Join USA Team Handball, Visit Siouxland, Briar Cliff University, and the Siouxland community for a landmark weekend of Olympic handball in downtown Sioux City.

Team USA v. Team Canada

Experience elite international handball in the United States as the continent&rsquo;s top men&rsquo;s national teams compete for the North American &amp; Caribbean Championship title&mdash;and a place at the International Handball Federation (IHF) World Championship, Germany 2027. Hosted at the TBK Bank Sports Complex from May 12&ndash;16, this five-day event brings fast-paced, high-scoring action to Quad Cities, Iowa. With World Championship qualification on the line, every match matters on the US Men&#39;s National Team&#39;s path to the LA28 Summer Olympic Games.

North American & Caribbean Men's Handball Championships

For the first time in more than three decades, the U.S. Women&rsquo;s National Team is preparing to compete on home soil at the Olympic Games. The road to LA28 runs through the 2027 Pan American Games and 2027 World Championship&mdash;and the work is already well-underway!Women&rsquo;s team handball participation in the United States has tripled in the past year. Behind that growth is a rising community of athletes training, competing and fighting for the opportunity to represent USA Team Handball as the United States Women&#39;s Olympic Handball National Team, and Team USA on the world&rsquo;s biggest stage. Your gift directly supports the court time, coaching, equipment, international competition and travel required to support athletes chasing their Olympic dream.
