Vajra Dakini Nunnery Inc empowers women through Buddhist teachings, fostering spiritual growth and community support. They provide a nurturing environment for female practitioners to engage in meditation, study, and service, promoting compassion and wisdom.

Our own altruistic intention to be kind and act with compassion is the seed of a growing intention to live as a compassionate being not causing any harm as we move through the world. When we embark on putting this intention into action we see how complex it is to live mindfully with an open heart. In Mahayana Buddhism we are invited take a vow as a commitment. First, we train our heart/mind until its capacity is limitless, inclusive of all sentient beings. Gradually this process leads to love in action, as our words and deeds are in harmony with our intention-despite any and all external conditions. How do we move from intention to an unwavering heart mind that informs all our speech and actions? &nbsp;What is the training? What weakens and what repairs the vow? Join Khenmo Drolma for an exploration of the Bodhisattva vow. The retreat will take place on a lakefront home in Bridgton, Maine. &nbsp;For those choosing the residential option there will be ample relaxation time on the waterfront on Saturday. Students will bring pot luck meals contributions. Information will come with registration.

Women in Tibetan Buddhism Ven. Choyang was born in Tibet and ordained in 2003 under the guidance of his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. &nbsp;She received the Rapjampa Degree (similar to a Master&#39;s degree) in 2022 after completing a 17-year course of Buddhist studies.&nbsp; She is a Tenzin Gyatso Science Scholar and was one of the first Tibetan nuns to attend a two-year science training program at Emory University as part of the Emory Tibet Science Initiative. Currently, Ani Choyang serves as Library and Learning Canter Project Coordinator at Jangchub Choeling Nunnery. &nbsp; Any donations made during the registration process will be given to support Ven. Choyang&#39;s Library Project.&nbsp;&nbsp;
