The Veterans Care Trust Fund is dedicated to addressing the unique needs of our rural Wisconsin veterans, active military personnel, and their families. We aim to fill the gaps in overlooked services and resources. Did you know? As of 2023, our six rural counties show varying percentages of veterans: Sauk County boasts 7%, Columbia County at 7.8%, Adams County has 10.2%, Juneau County is at 9.1%, Richland County has 7.0%, and Vernon County rounds up to 7.2%. This collective accounts for a remarkable total of 14,419 rural veterans, as recognized by the VA, WDVA, and the Census Bureau. In the broader landscape of Wisconsin, we are proud to have 323,724 veterans residing here, not including those in the National Guard, Reserves, or active duty, along with their family members. Among the 14,419 veterans in our six counties, we estimate that an additional 27,036 family members are navigating life's challenges without adequate support and access to necessary services. All Teams are greeted at our registration welcome table, which starts at 9 AM. You will be given a badge, a golf lineup, and a cart ready for your clubs and adventure on the course. Trappers have prepared an exquisite spread that awaits you.  As teams return, why not take a moment to unwind? 2025 Wings Over the Fairway Invite

The Veterans Care Trust Fund, founded in 1988, is a testament to unwavering support for veterans and their families. Over the years, its mission has expanded to address the evolving needs of veterans, including Mental Health Assessments, Rent or Mortgage Assistance, necessary work attire and equipment, Food, Bags of Hope for emergency contact, Sprinkles, Sparkles & Strips, Business Startups, and The Opportunity Fund. The journey of our veterans is fraught with challenges. These may include economic hardships, trauma, mental health conditions, and social isolation, all of which increase the risk of housing instability and homelessness. Despite substantial federal investments in research and data collection, rural communities like ours often lack the necessary funding to support veterans at the community level.
