Veterans of Foreign Wars Lee Pearson Post 1786, is dedicated to taking care of local veterans and their families through community service, help with VA claims, direct help with medical and money problems, and fostering the memory of past veterans. We have a relief fund (that anyone can donate to) that is only used to help veterans and their families. We are currently trying to collect donations so that we can build a new building to use for our functions and as a community center. We have no intention of turning it into a bar and bingo hall, it will be used to further our mission to help veterans.
