Vhs Xc Booster Club

The Vhs Xc Booster Club supports student athletes by promoting distance running events, fostering community engagement, and providing resources for runners of all ages and abilities to excel in their athletic pursuits.

Dear Supporters, We hope this message finds you well! We&#39;re reaching out on behalf of the Vandegrift High School Cross Country team with an exciting opportunity to support one of the most accomplished athletic programs in the state of Texas. Last season, our athletes proved what&#39;s possible when kids are given the chance to compete. Our boys team finished 2nd in the state of Texas in the largest and most competitive high school division in the country &mdash; and their excellence earned them a spot at the Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, Oregon, one of the most exclusive high school running events in the country. Only the top two teams from each of five regions across the nation are invited to compete, and our boys earned their place on that start line. Our girls team had an equally impressive season, finishing 13th in Texas in that same brutally competitive field. These kids are the real deal. And we believe they&#39;re just getting started. This year, we have a goal to make Vandegrift Cross Country a true &quot;no barrier&quot; sport &mdash; where every student who wants to run can do so fully, regardless of their financial situation. We&#39;re raising $30,000 to fund: 👟 Free uniforms for all athletes🌮 Protein shakes and breakfast tacos after weekly long runs⌚ Team equipment including heart rate monitors and recovery devices🚌 Team travel We&#39;ve seen what this team can achieve even without all the resources they deserve. Imagine what they can do when every runner has access to the tools that help them train and recover at the highest level. Our goal is $30,000, and every dollar goes directly toward our athletes.
