Virginia JPA and Eastern Shore Public Library are teaming up to bring the first speed puzzling workshop to the Eastern Shore!! Date: July 11, 2026Time: 9am-11amWhere: Eastern Shore Public Library &amp; Heritage Center, 24313 Bennett St., Parksley, VA 23421Cost: FreeRegistration: required - space is limited&nbsp;This workshop is designed for puzzlers who have participated in two or fewer competitions (either zoom or in-person).Participants will learn effective speed puzzling strategies and gain hands-on experience through friendly competition.We will start with an intro into speed puzzling, followed by doing a practice run on a 100-piece puzzle.Then we will split into teams up to four people and compete against each other with a 500-piece puzzle.&nbsp; After the workshop ends, stick around for the Puzzle Social!

Eastern Shore Speed Puzzling Workshop

We are excited to announce that we have been invited to the annual Warrenton Town Limits Festival. We will have tables set up for speed puzzling, puzzle &amp; chat, and puzzle chess. All are welcome. Come say hi and try out a puzzle event, or bring some friends and compete against each other. Warrenton Town Limits Festival + Virginia JPA

We are proud to host our first Speed Puzzling Showdown! You will be racing against the clock, each other and maybe even your personal best, to see who can finish in the allotted time. Whether you are a first timer or been around for a while, the excitement never gets old. Try your hand at going solo or bring a friend or three and make it a party.We are hosting three categories: solos, pairs, and teams. Solo&rsquo;s will have a 300 piece and 500 piece; both will have a 90 minute time limit.&nbsp;There will be prizes for the fastest puzzlers! Non-Virginia residents can compete but will be ineligible for prizes. To be eligible for prizes there must be at least one Virginian resident participating per team, this means that non-Virginia residents are not eligible for solo prizes.

Solo&#39;s Only Virginia-Series 🧩&nbsp; Virginia JPA&#39;s first ever Solos Only Virginia-Series combined with our first ever unreleased Boardwalk image featuring artist Rose Khan!!!We will have three rounds of solo 500 piece competitions. The overall fastest time of all three rounds combined will determine the winner. Each round has a 2 hour time limit, with approximately 30 minute breaks between rounds. This is our last speed puzzling competition for 2026 so we are going big and bringing all the events into one full action packed day! We will have solos, pairs, PAIRS RELAY, teams and casual puzzling!
