Voter Empowerment Collaborative

The Voter Empowerment Collaboration fosters civic engagement and champions voting rights through education, advocacy, and community mobilizing, honoring the legacy of the civil rights movement while empowering individuals to participate in democracy.

The YCI Leadership Summit is a one-day youth leadership and civic engagement experience designed to equip young people with the skills, confidence, and tools to lead in their schools and communities. Through interactive workshops focused on leadership development, civic education, public speaking, storytelling, media advocacy, community organizing, and coalition building, participants will strengthen their voice and capacity for action. The summit will also feature a youth-led service project centered on collecting and assembling back-to-school supplies for younger students, reinforcing the connection between service and civic responsibility. The day will conclude with youth action plan presentations and a closing recognition ceremony that highlights youth leadership and community impact.
