Walltown Childrens Theatre

LXCL:At Walltown Children’s Theatre, we use the power of the performing arts to bring young people together, build confidence, and inspire positive change. Through high-quality arts education and youth development, we create a welcoming space where young people from all backgrounds can discover their talents, form meaningful connections, and grow as artists, leaders, and individuals. As they grow, they enrich not only their own lives, but also the lives of their families and the wider community.

In 2016, the Sporn Family established the Sam Sporn Guitar Scholarship at Walltown Children’s Theatre in loving memory of their son, brother, and uncle, Sam, who passed away in 2015. A former student, volunteer, and friend of WCT—and a guitarist himself—Sam’s spirit lives on through tuition-free music lessons for young artists. For nine years, these scholarships have helped students build confidence, discover a love of music, and carry those skills far beyond their time at Walltown. Made possible by the generosity of friends and family, the Sporns invite you—especially during Sam’s December birthday month—to help them continue sharing music, joy, and opportunity with new and returning students for years to come.
