Wander Valley

LXCL:Wander Valley is a non-profit organization that invites families to explore nature through hands-on experiences inspired by our favorite place: the outdoors! Our program celebrates seasonal changes and encourages creativity and exploration. Alongside our seasonal pop-up events, we run a year-round nature co-op featuring field trips, hiking, and nature education with literary connections for homeschoolers across the Hudson Valley.

An invitation for ages 0&ndash;6 to explore the fascinating world of fungi and forests through hands-on experiences with a caregiver. We&rsquo;ll dive into fungi-inspired themes through nature exploration, crafting with natural materials, dress-up, free play and unwind with a cozy story and tea as we follow a natural rhythm inspired by our favorite place: the outdoors! Some materials may be messy. The event will occur rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Wander Valley Pop-Up: Fungi & Forest 🍄‍🟫

An invitation for ages 0-6 to explore spring through hands-on experiences with a caregiver. We&rsquo;ll explore garden themes and celebrate our beautiful pollinators with music and movement, use natural material to build, practice nature journaling from observation, and read a story with tea as we coast through a natural rhythm inspired by the outdoors. Forest Fridays - A Wander & Wonder Series 🌷

Support Our Outdoor Learners! Wander Valley is a nonprofit, nature-based homeschool co-op dedicated to connecting families and the outdoors. We&#39;ve spent the past two years building a vibrant learning community and wandering through Orange and Ulster counties and we&#39;re so grateful for it. 100% of donations and event proceeds go directly back into our program. We use it to fund hands-on art supplies, equipment, and enriching field trips for our kids. Your generosity helps us keep outdoor education rich, vibrant, and accessible for our local families!
