Each year WSSC holds its Lighthouse Challenge Regatta.This is a fun, specialty race where we sail around the Detroit Light at the mouth of the Detroit River at Lake Erie.After the race we meet at Grosse Ile Township Recreation Water’s Edge Pavilion for a picnic and a Charity Auction where all funds raised go to a chosen charity.
