The Winona Sheltering Network supports refugee and immigrant families in Winona by providing essential resources and direct assistance. We are an all-volunteer, tax-exempt 501c3 nonprofit.

The Winona Sheltering Network is an all-volunteer organization supporting those resettling in the Winona, Minnesota area after fleeing dangerous situations in their home countries. Our volunteers collectively contribute hundreds of hours every month to this effort, but without financial support, that work would be impossible.Your monthly or one-time gift will directly benefit individuals and families resettling in Winona.Support for newly arrived individuals and families: housing, food, transportation, cell phone service, and other "getting settled" expenses. (Families and individuals gradually take over these expenses beginning three months after their arrival.) Reunifying individuals with close family members (spouses, children) left behind in their home country.Mortgage payments and ongoing maintenance of the transitional refugee housing at 701 Huff Street and 725 Harriet Street.All donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a tax receipt by e-mail automatically. Zeffy asks for a voluntary donation to support this service. You can change the suggested donation amount, or skip donating to Zeffy altogether, before completing the donation form.
