Get ready for an unforgettable evening of celebration, laughter, music, and Democratic leadership at the FDR Gala: A Night for Washington&rsquo;s Future! We&rsquo;re excited to welcome Washington State Attorney General Nick Brown as our keynote speaker for an evening celebrating Democratic values, public service, and our shared vision for Washington&rsquo;s future. Nick Brown has spent his career working for the people and for justice &mdash; from his service as an Army JAG and U.S. Attorney to his leadership today as Washington&rsquo;s Attorney General. He has fought to protect civil rights, strengthen public safety, stand up for working families, and hold the powerful accountable. Washington is fortunate to have a leader so deeply committed to serving the people of our state. Dr. Vickie Ybarra is a Washington State leader, public policy scholar, and longtime advocate for children, families, and equity. She currently serves as Assistant Secretary for Partnership, Prevention, and Services at the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families, and brings decades of experience in public health, policy, and community leadership. The evening will also feature comedian Kate Carlson Carlsen as our emcee, musical entertainment by Michael Cabrera, and special guests, local Democratic leaders and local candidates. And that&#39;s not all! Browse our Silent Auction, featuring great items and experiences, and enjoy a drink from our no-host bar while you mingle and celebrate with fellow Democrats from across the county.
