This is the big chance to acquire the specific skills that will let you move from subject matter expert to someone who can offer a lot to state and local leaders. RSVP and the Zoom link will be emailed to you.

Legislation Lab's Law-Writing Crash Course

Abundant Housing Illinois is launching Legislative Lab. This is our new initiative where we draft legislation for state and local lawmakers to champion. Bring your policy ideas, your frustrations with the status quo, and your opinions. We are looking for anyone who loves to write, who loves to edit, and those who love to dream of what we can accomplish. All are welcome to attend, even if you’ve never helped with legislation before! All we ask is that you are ready to help contribute.

A major California legal development is now underway, and YIMBY Law, a 501c3 legal enforcement organization, has already taken decisive action in response. This members only briefing will give a full walkthrough of what is happening, why rapid legal action was taken, and what comes next for statewide pro housing efforts. Because of the sensitivity and importance of this situation, full details will only be shared inside the briefing. This session is not a discussion.
