The Raccoon Shop
Welcome to our online shop!My work is deeply rooted in ancestry and memory. My mother, of Amazonian and Spanish heritage, sewed and sculpted, while my grandmother—my father’s mother and a proud Yaqui—practiced hand embroidery, a vital part of our culture. Though she passed when my father was young, her knowledge lives on. In our tradition, we carry not only ancestral trauma but also their healing medicine. Now, as my mother lives with dementia, continuing her teachings is an act of honor. She showed me the value of culture, tradition, and creating with care. Every stitch and embroidered piece carries forward what was gifted to me—a living proof that this knowledge was never lost, only carried. When you purchase from this shop, you support slow, intentional work shaped by lineage, memory, and responsibility.
