Bentley arrived neglected and in pain, his small body struggling after going without basic care for far too long. Your gift helps cover his surgery, medications, and safe recovery with our foster team. This was the plea we got from the animal shelter:🚨MEDICAL EMERGENCY:&nbsp;The shelter is at max capacity for dogs and cats, and Bentley is in need of immediate placement ASAP. He is in danger and must be tagged and picked up by 4pm today.&nbsp;Hello,&nbsp;Meet Bentley, a friendly and sweet approximately 6-year-old, 9.45 lb. boy who suddenly found himself surrendered due to his overwhelming medical needs on 8/27/26. Sweet little Bri came to Yorkie Rescue Houston when her family could no longer provide the care she needed following a death in the family. Instead of beginning her journey toward a new home, Bri has landed in the hospital fighting severe, acute pancreatitis.At just 5.1 pounds, this tiny Yorkie is currently hospitalized and receiving IV fluids, injectable medications, anti-nausea medication, pain/supportive care, and close monitoring. Her veterinary team is also performing extensive diagnostics, including bloodwork, pancreatic testing, X-rays, and an abdominal ultrasound.&nbsp;And the bills are climbing fast.Bri&#39;s current hospital estimate is already $2,118.54&ndash;$2,223.46, even after the rescue discount. &nbsp;This is only the current estimate, and with a serious case of pancreatitis, her final cost may increase depending on how long she needs hospitalization and treatment.Bri didn&#39;t ask for any of this. She lost the only home she had known, came into rescue needing a fresh start, and now she is fighting to get well enough to have one.We said yes to Bri.
