For fifty years Georgetown Theatre Workshop has been woven into the cultural fabric of Georgetown. Since 1974 our productions have served audiences from Georgetown and surrounding towns with quality community theater and cultivated a creative hub for all who participate in bringing our shows to life.
As we kick-off our 50th anniversary season and continue to grow and evolve, GTW needs your support.
Here are just a few things your gift can do.
$10 provides a script to an actor
$25 covers the cost of a stage light bulb
$50 helps us buy specialized props or costume items
$100 offsets the cost of royalties for a performance
$300 pays one month's rent on our rehearsal space
We have outlined an ambitious goal to raise $5,000 by the end of this milestone season. For GTW these funds are the fuel we need to produce all three productions and keep our general operations running.
Engaging community theater is powerful. It inspires collaboration, fosters empathy and understanding, and creates shared experiences. Each GTW production involves many local residents and brings together people of varying
ages, skills, and talents to craft dynamic and entertaining live theater events for our whole community to enjoy. Give today or before the end of the year to support our work and keep high-quality community theater accessible to our neighbors and audiences.
Please note: Additional support of our fee-free donation platform Zeffy is optional. We encourage a $2.00 contribution to support Zeffy's work, but to adjust or remove any additional contribution, just click the dropdown menu next to "Support our 100% free platform!" at check out and choose ‘other‘ to reduce, adjust, or remove any additional contribution.
