Hurricane Helene has left Western North Carolina forever changed, bringing complete destruction to many areas and leaving countless animals and rescues in crisis. Small rescues—those that give everything with limited resources—are struggling to survive. They have lost their facilities, supplies, and sometimes even the means to continue their mission. These rescues are the unsung heroes of animal welfare, and right now, they need us.

Blazin' Trails Bottle Babies is launching the "West NC Animal Rescue Relief Grant" to support these small, community-based rescues that have been affected by the hurricane. Many of these rescues operate on shoestring budgets and rely solely on the goodwill of their community. Unlike larger organizations, they often don’t have access to emergency funding, and they face an uphill battle to rebuild.
