Established right here in Austin in 1997, The Atheist Community of Austin, Inc. (ACA) has been a consistent presence dedicated to promoting atheism, critical thinking, secular humanism, and the separation of religion and government. Through local meetings and events, as well as our award-winning media productions, our reach is both local and global!

Local: We have an active and engaged volunteer-led community creating regular meetings at the Freethought Library on Koenig lane in Austin. Our events create community and provide opportunities for people to gather for thought provoking and friendship building activities. Our weekly meetups for Philosophy Under the stars, the Secular Sisterhood, and regular Game Nights are just a few examples of folks in Austin to getting together in a safe and welcoming space.

Global: From our studio located in the Freethought Library on Koenig Lane in Austin, we consistently and regularly produce over 300 HOURS of new educational and thought-provoking content that reaches literally millions of people every month through our award-winning productions such as The Atheist Experience™, Talk Heathen™, Truth Wanted™ and The Non-Prophets™. Our productions challenge religious dogma, expose bad ideas, and show people how to recognize and refute bad arguments and flawed reasoning.
