The image on the left is the extent of the recreational opportunities at Rowe Middle School during lunch and PE.  While it is a nice structure for basketball and a few other potential uses, the 350 students that attend lunch together find it rather limiting.  The tennis courts and baseball fields are not available for lunchtime use by the students.  

After seeking input from the students at the school, a plan has been developed to place a multi-use asphalt pad adjacent to this structure.  Included on the pad will be a number of game options including the ever popular GaGa Ball, Tetherball, Volleyball, and potentially others.  In order to expedite the process of Acquisition and Construction the Rowe Parent Teacher Association (ROWE PTA) has accepted the challenge of Fundraising half of the cost of the project.  District and Rowe Administration budgets will cover the remainder.  If we can reach our goal, this lasting project will occur much faster than Capital Acquisition Projects would normally allow
