Join us for the 2nd Annual PBG Celebrity Hit-A-Thon, an exciting day of baseball, community, and fun—all in support of the Philippines Baseball Group (PBG). This action-packed event brings together our players and special celebrity guests to compete, connect, and raise funds for a great cause!
A fun community celebration and fundraising event open to all ages
Each PBG player and celebrity guest will compete in hitting challenges for prizes and bragging rights
All proceeds support Filipino-American youth through PBG programs and international competition opportunities
PBG players will collect pledges based on their hitting performance
Donors can pledge by the foot of distance or make a flat donation
Each PBG player will be matched with a celebrity partner, and their combined fundraising totals will count toward the competition
Local icons, community leaders, and surprise guests will join the action!
Celebrities are paired with PBG players to boost team spirit and fundraising efforts
Each player receives 10 pitches
Foul balls count as pitches but not as valid hits
Field umpires will flag and measure each valid hit
We will record the two furthest hits, with the second hit used as a tiebreaker
Immediately after their final swing, each player will sprint through first base to record their time for the Hard 90 Base Running Competition
