All proceeds from the Mardi Gras Fundraiser Ball will directly contribute to the development of our new service center. This center aims to become a cornerstone in our mission to foster equity, provide essential resources, and support our community's diverse needs. Families United For Equity's State of the Art Service Center will include Clinical Assessments, Screening, Navigation Services, and Early Start services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, play therapy, and behavioral therapy. This service center will serve as FUFE headquarters for our Navigators to Leaders Program as well and will continue to provide advocacy service for service providers as well.

Keynote speaker will be the esteemed Ms. Surlene Grant, former Vice-Mayor of the City of San Leandro. Surlene currently holds 2 positions both as the Deputy Director of California Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) Office of Environmental Equity and Director of Eden Health Care District.
• Mardi Gras King & Queens Court Community Awards: Celebrate outstanding community members dedicated to fostering equity and inclusivity through the presentation of the Mardi Gras King & Queen Community Awards.
