Each year, the Fairbrook PTO sponsors a Birthday Book Club. This has proven to be a popular way to honor our children's birthdays and support our school's library!

The student will choose a library quality book and have their photo taken. A bookplate is affixed to the inside cover of the book stating “In honor of _______on his/her _______birthday” with their picture.

They will receive the book during their birthday month. The student is allowed to check the book out for two weeks before anyone else in the school, after which time it is placed on the library shelves for the general circulation and other students’ enjoyment. (Don’t forget summer birthdays!)
