Hearts for Aurora

First Annual Dinner and Dance Fundraiser

   Join us for dinner, dancing, and a silent auction while we raise money for the Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City. 

   In July of 2022, Aurora had open heart surgery at Stead. The cardiac team was beyond amazing and always made us feel at home. They are not only caring for the patients but for their families as well. Aurora is now doing so well, striving and living her best life. We want to give back, show our appreciation and help other families get through their medical journeys the best they can!

   We've met with the team at Steads about our ideas and there are plenty of ways to donate back. Some options consist of a general fund to help the families while staying at the hospital or Ronald McDonald while another could be purchasing AED equipment for schools in Iowa and funding educational opportunities for First Aid/CPR. We have not chosen which way we will go yet but know that whichever we choose it will not go unappreciated.
