Class Description:

This workshop is lead by Fine Artist Margaret Park for intermediate to advanced watercolorists, assuming that you have prior watercolor skills and do not need much instruction as to techniques. Margaret will be providing a photo each week and where we'll discuss composition, the parts we will be using, and the parts to leave out, as well as techniques to use to create the desired effect. In some cases, multiple photos of the same subject will be present and discussion will ensue as to what, if anything, should be taken from each photo and how to put together the pieces to create the painting. Painting will commence during the class and be finished at home. The following class will start with critiquing each finished painting and moving on to the next reference photo. Bring your own supplies.
