Our 50/50 raffle is back! Support our summer initiatives while being entered in the chance to win some summer cash! The winner of this raffle will win half of the ticket profits. The more tickets are sold, the bigger the pot so help spread the word! Our summer initiatives:Dry LotWe have several horses in our herd who have medical conditions or who are predisposed to medical conditions that make it dangerous to have too much sugar. Because of this, they cannot go out to pasture because of the sugar content of our grass. Instead they stay in the runs that our horses spend the night in. We are seeking to improve their quality of life by adding a dry lot to our property! A dry lot is a section of land that has no grass on it, only dirt or pea gravel. This will not only give these horses a change of scenery but will also give them more space to move around, which is important to their digestive systems. Our plans have been designed, now we need the funds to make them a reality! Dry Lot construction cost: $675.33 Code 4: RMRT First Responders Program™The purpose of this program is to give first responders a place to decompress and work with and learn about horses. It’s a mixture of working with horses on the ground as well as riding. We’re flexible about what we teach because we want it to be first responder driven to maximize its benefit. This program has been designed by first responders for first responders. We strive to offer this program at no cost to our first responders as a way for us to give back to them for all that they do! Code 4 sponsorship costs: $860 per week (2 groups); $6,880 for two groups for a full 8 week session
