Annually, the Sankofa Foundation grants scholarships to outstanding college-bound high school seniors in the DFW area, who are honored at the Alpha Legacy Scholarship Gala. Since 1997, our organization has consistently awarded numerous scholarships each year, thanks to the generous contributions from supporters of the Alpha Legacy Scholarship Gala and various fundraising efforts throughout the year.

Our goal is to expand both the number and the amount of scholarships we offer, as well as to increase funding for our initiatives that promote education, self-esteem, and good citizenship. We invite you to consider a sponsorship of our event, an investment in the future of our youth. Your tax-deductible support will significantly benefit our scholarship awardees and other community programs.
