At the Suffolk Youth Athletic Association Field Hockey Sessions, players will receive hands-on training in both fundamental and advanced field hockey skills. Players will learn how to dribble with control and speed, pass with accuracy using techniques like flat and push passes, and improve their shooting with hits, pushes, and drag flicks. They&#39;ll also work on receiving the ball effectively in various game situations.As skills progress, athletes will be introduced to advanced techniques, including defensive positioning, tackling, 3D dribbling moves, and offensive strategies for scoring goals. Goalkeepers will benefit from specialized instruction focused on diving, clearing, and communicating with the defense.In addition to on-field skills, the sessions emphasize physical conditioning to build endurance, speed, and agility. Players will also strengthen their teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities&mdash;essential traits for success both on and off the field. These sessions provide a fun and supportive environment where athletes can enhance their skills and confidence.
