XVIII World Congress of Comparative Education Societies will take place from July 22 to July 26, 2024, at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA. The theme of this Congress is "Fostering Inclusive Ecologies of Knowledge: Education for Equitable and Sustainable Futures." It is the first time that the world congress is being held in the USA in the 53 years of the history of the Council.
Co-convened by WCCES and UNESCO, and co-organized by NGVO and IOCES, the XVIII WCCES World Congress will be a unique venue to bring together constituent societies and their members, other scholars, researchers, policy-makers, community leaders, and stakeholders from around the world to exchange ideas, share research findings, and discuss innovative approaches to addressing the educational challenges of our time. This event will serve as a unique opportunity for collaboration and cross-cultural understanding to explore diverse knowledge systems, advocate for inclusive and sustainable education, and contribute to shaping a more equitable and sustainable future for humanity.
