NCCC's 2024 International Compost Awareness Week Schedule of Events

Event closed

International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) is the largest and most comprehensive education initiative of the compost industry. This year ICAW week is May 5th to May 11th. The goal of ICAW is to work together to raise public awareness on why we all should be composting our organics and using compost to create healthier soil.

In honor of ICAW, the North Carolina Composting Council (NCCC) organized a daily line-up of virtual and in-person events from Monday May 6th to Friday May 10th. This will be NCCC's 2nd year to host one-hour-long virtual presentations during lunchtime, known as ComCon (compost conversations).
