On Saturday Dec. 2nd Sinterklaas will visit our Dutch school in San Diego.

The Program

The event will start at 10.30 am and last until about 1.30 pm. The celebration includes a meet & greet with Sinterklaas, arts & crafts, Dutch games, a potluck lunch (with pizza for the children) and lots of "pepernoten en gezelligheid". Sinterklaas will give a chocolate letter to the children. 

Important

- Please bring a dish to share for the potluck. This can be a main course, side dish or dessert. The Dutch School will provide coffee, refreshments, lots of pepernoten & speculaas, as well as pizza for the children. You can add your dish here to the potluck list.

-  For parents with children: Please bring 1 wrapped gift (around $15) per child with their first and last name + age written on it.

Fundraiser

Sinterklaas is an important fundraiser for our school. Any donations are very welcome. Also in-kind donations are highly appreciated. We will use these items or services in our silent auction. Please send an email to coordinator@dutchschoolsocal.org.  As we are a non-profit you will receive a tax-deductible letter. We will have some nice silent auction deals that you can bid on during the Sinterklaas party, including an amazing trip to Mexico!
