Come enjoy a relaxed afternoon at the El Vaquero Winery Tasting Patio while listening to some of the best players of traditional acoustic music in Santa Cruz County. This is the third annual concert fundraiser for Community Music School, which provides low- and no-cost music enrichment programs to kids ages 7-18, in addition to their adult programming. An assortment of wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, as well as charcuterie plates, cheese and cracker assortments, hummus and chips, and cookies.  This year’s event features some of Santa Cruz County's finest acoustic musicians, including Shelley Phillips (founder of Community Music School), Steve Coulter, Rachel Goodman, and Fox Pettinotti. The performances start shortly after 3pm; there will be three 20-minute sets of music, with breaks in between to allow for conversation. At 5pm, the concert portion will end, and we'll finish the afternoon with a session, where attendees can bring their instruments and join in playing Celtic standards with the performers.  Tickets are $30 in advance, or $35 at the door. (Kids under 18 get in for $10.) All proceeds from ticket and food sales go towards funding Community Music School's youth programming:  free beginning music classes for Live Oak 4th & 5th graders, our Teen Band, and our summer music camps for kids and teenagers. Parking is limited at El Vaquero. After accommodating all the cars we can on site, we’ll have drivers drop off any passengers, and then drive one mile to Bradley Elementary School to park. We’ll have a number of shuttle vehicles to bring drivers back to the concert, and will reverse the process at the end of the event. Please carpool if possible! Questions?
