Discover the endless creative possibilities of collage in this hands-on class designed for teens and adults. Layer by Layer invites you to experiment with collage to create dynamic and meaningful works of art. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class will guide you through various techniques.
Through guided exercises and open-ended projects, you'll explore composition, texture, and storytelling while developing your unique artistic voice. Using printed materials, you’ll transform ordinary scraps into expressive, layered masterpieces.

Needed Supplies:
Please provide Large glue sticks (Uhu brand is very good), Scissors, Exacto knife, pad of thick drawing paper (any size, thicker paper does not warp as much when glue is applied), print material (magazines, posters, photos, ads, newspapers, printed paper, etc...), Elmer's glue, paint brush for glue, small cup or bowl for glue.
Optional: Fabrics, drawing pens, and acrylic paint for layering.
