MTWThF 8:30-12pm Robotics impacts nearly every aspect of our daily lives! In this AC Robotics Camp students will explore how robots are designed, built, and controlled through engaging hands-on robotics design challenges. Each student will construct, customize, and code their own robot, incorporating various sensors, cameras, and mechanical systems. Both autonomous decision making (self-driving vehicles) and wireless human control will be employed. The NASA-endorsed VEX robotics platform will be used. Programmable drones may also be introduced if time permits. At the end of the camp students will receive a portfolio-enhancing official AC Robotics Camp certificate outlining their new skills. No prior experience is necessary. Instructor: Randy Scott has been teaching and coaching robotics for fifteen years. He holds two engineering degrees, a teaching degree, and is a state licensed engineering and robotics instructor. He is also a VEX Robotics Certified Educator.
