Message to Donors – TY Vaughan Memorial Music Scholarship

Thank you for your generous support of the TY Vaughan Memorial Music Scholarship. Each year, HSFH grants a Veteran — or a family member of a Veteran — with a complete Music Empowerment Training Course, including a brand‑new guitar and full music education through Heart Strings For Heroes.

This scholarship carries the name and spirit of Ty Vaughan, a proud U.S. Navy Aviator pilot, who graduated from the US Naval academy, a top gun pilot, graduating from Miramar, awarded the Navy`s top bombardier award and was a dedicated student, and a graduate of our M.E.T. program. Ty brought heart, humor, and determination to every lesson. He passed suddenly on his birthday in August of 2026, leaving behind a legacy of courage, kindness, and a deep love for music.

Your contribution ensures that Ty’s musical light never fades. Through your generosity, his name will continue to inspire healing, hope, and creativity — granting the gift of music to those who need it most.

From all of us at Heart Strings For Heroes, thank you for helping keep Ty’s legacy alive and shining.
