We are a student-run nonprofit organization at UC Davis dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of Japanese culture in our community through the art of taiko drumming, and we host this end-of-the-year concert every spring to showcase the growth and passion of our members. The theme for our show this year is &quot;一期一会&quot;, which means a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness our graduating members grace the stage and share their lasting impact as they get ready to embark upon their post-college journeys. We aim to honor their time on the team and thank them for everything by putting on a show that lives up to the expectations of being a part of Bakuhatsu. One more thing: our team name &quot;Bakuhatsu&quot; translates to &quot;explosion,&quot; which symbolizes the high energy of our performers on stage, so we want YOU to join in on the energy and treat this as a concert like no other!
