HerUpland Flushing Dog Training Camp
Menoken, ND August 22-25, 2024
Experience the ultimate preparation for your hunting season hunt tests and spaniel field trials at the HerUpland Flushing Dog Camp, held in Menoken, ND, just 10 miles outside of Bismark. Tailored exclusively for 18 women and 2 youth/collegiate scholarship recipients, this unique camp offers an unparalleled opportunity to enhance your and your dog's skills in a supportive, female-focused environment.
Designed to cater to all experience levels, from beginners with puppies at least 6 months old to seasoned hunters with advanced dogs, our program begins with thorough evaluations in both field and water settings. Our expert trainHers team, dedicated to advancing hunting dog capabilities, will guide you through a comprehensive curriculum covering bird and gun exposure, field steadiness, obedience, retrieving on land and water, blinds, and tracking and dragging exercises.
More than just training, the HerUpland Flushing Dog Camp is a comprehensive preparation experience for the hunting season and testing/trialing venues ahead. Participants will engage in hands-on learning, from bird catching and planting to preparing birds for the table, providing a full spectrum of training and testing knowledge. While there is no shooting instruction during dog training workshops, opportunities for wingshooting instruction are available through our wingshooting clinics for those interested in enhancing their shooting skills.
Join us at HerUpland Flushing Dog Camp for a transformative weekend that promises to advance your skills and prepare you and your bird dog for a successful hunting season ahead.
