Return of the British Car Show in Historic Rugby, TNSaturday, April 22, 2026 Rugby is a Victorian English village that was established in 1880 on the Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee. Historic Rugby offers original historical buildings, lodging, shops and dining. It is the perfect setting for a British Car &amp; Bike Show. For 2026, &ldquo;Return of the British&rdquo; will be held on Saturday, August 22. While the car show is the reason for the event, there are also other activities (see schedule below): Friday evening, we gather for food, drink and friendship at the Harrow Road Public House area. That&rsquo;s followed by Irish Road Bowling. Never heard of it? Check it out online. It&rsquo;s a lot of fun.&nbsp; On Saturday, show day, there are cars to see and talk about, a silent auction, swap meet, and vendors&rsquo; goods to peruse. You&#39;re invited to register for a 10x10 space at the swap meet, open from 9:00am - 2:30pm, and bring cars, car parts and tools. During that lull between the end of judging and the awards announcement, you needn&rsquo;t be bored: There&rsquo;s always some new activity offered, plus a National Parks Service Ranger led hike, and a free abbreviated tour of some of Historic Rugby&rsquo;s buildings for show car registrants. All day long there is shopping for unique Rugby souvenirs and gifts and a Tea Table-Setting contest for you to judge.
