The 15th Annual Men Who Cook potluck for the Children&#39;s Advocacy Center of East Central Illinois is coming up on Saturday, February 21st! This event brings our community together for an evening of good food and shared purpose. Local men step into the kitchen to prepare their favorite dishes, offering tastings throughout the event. This is a potluck style event featuring 30+ local men preparing bite-sized samples of their favorite dish for public judging. Saturday, February 21stLifespan Center 11021 East County Road, Charleston ILTasting from 6:00-7:30PM &bull; Awards to Follow Attendees will have the opportunity to sample the dishes prepared by our chefs and vote for their favorites! Trophies are awarded to the top 3 chefs in each category and the Grand Master Chef will also be named. Beverages including soft drinks, wine, and beer are provided. Additional evening fun including: Door prizes, Raffles, and Auction Items. This event is to raise funds and awareness for the Children&rsquo;s Advocacy Center of East Central Illinois, a not for profit agency serving children who are victims of sexual and/or severe physical abuse. There is no set charge for this event, however generous donations are collected and greatly appreciated. Suggested donation is $30+ per attendee.
