This condition causes the body to lack a vital protein that is needed to hold the layers of the skin together. EB also affects the mucous membranes so there is internal involvement as well, including the digestive tract and eyes.  Other symptoms include tooth decay, infection, anemia, deformities, malnutrition, contractures, constipation, sepsis, and early death. His family is dedicated to raising awareness. We are also running to help fund the $18,000.00 in out-of-pocket medical expenses needed for Daxton's care this year. Registration is $25.00 per runner.
