At the Big Bear Yoga Festival, you can expect a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere filled with a variety of activities centered around yoga, wellness, and community. Expect a beautiful yoga event in the San Bernardino Mountains. We play under the sun and trees. Our yoga classes are held mostly outside, with a few classes inside the Performing Arts Center building. The live music performances are energetic and sparkling. The vending area is full of small businesses with amazing offerings. Expect a welcoming and fun event!
Here are some highlights to look forward to:
Yoga Classes: There will be a diverse range of yoga styles and levels, from gentle restorative classes to challenging vinyasa flows. You’ll have the opportunity to try different styles and learn from experienced instructors. For beginners or limited mobility students, there are chair yoga classes too.
Wellness Activities: Expect activities like meditation sessions, sound healing, and breathing techniques, which can enhance your overall experience.
Fun Activities: Fun and laughter is good for your health and your wellbeing! We bring to you a Creator's Village for arts and crafts, face painting for everyone, and fun interactive spots around the festival that change each year. The After Glow yoga dance party is a great time for all. Additional classes include: Tai Chi, Slackline Playtime, Creative Mural Painting, Aerial Hammock Playtime, Creating and Exploring the Labyrinth and more!
Vendors: There will be booths featuring local artisans, wellness products, yoga gear, and healthy food options. It’s a great chance to shop for unique items and gifts.
Community: One of the best parts of the festival is the sense of community. You’ll meet fellow yogis, make new friends, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Nature: Being in the San Bernardino Mountains, you can also enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery. Most classes are held outdoors, allowing you to practice in an inspiring and grounding natural setting.
Live Music: Enjoy live music that complements the yoga experience, adding to the overall ambiance. Kirtan, a call-and-response chant or song, is offered to go deeper or check out for the first time for the new yoga student.

What should I bring?
Weather can vary and you should plan accordingly. In October the days can be warm, and nights cool. Bring hats, sunscreen, and appropriate clothes. Bring your yoga mat and any props you prefer using! *Please bring a refillable water bottle.

Do I need yoga experience to attend the classes?
You do not need any experience for the majority of classes. The teachers are trained professionals and can accommodate beginners. Classes are marked by level of difficulty. Classes geared towards intermediate or advanced students are identified for your information. Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, but ABSOLUTELY no dogs whatsoever (except guide or service dogs). We love the dogs, but they should stay home where they are safe.
Can I get tickets at the door?

Do I have to sign up for classes in advance?
No. All of the classes are open to all festival goers with tickets, first come first serve. You may choose to take whichever classes you wish, when you wish.

The festival is an easy drive, and is within a few hours from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Orange County, and San Diego. We encourage people to carpool! Coming from a distance, you can fly into the Ontario Airport. There are a few commuter buses too.

Where can I fill up a water bottle?
We encourage you to bring your own cup or water bottle to the festival. We strive to limit the waste created at the festival. Water bottles can be filled at the water fountains inside the Performing Arts Center.
Can I get a refund?
There are no refunds. Tickets are transferable.

At Big Bear Yoga Festival your health and safety is paramount. Our new Health and Safety Protocol focuses on maximizing the use of outdoor spaces. We will follow County Health and Safety requirements and those required by the venue at the time of the event.
