Join us for a fun-filled weekend of gaming, networking, and entertainment! Whether you're a DJ, content creator, gamer, or just a member of the NYC community, we have something for everyone.


Schedule of Events:


Day 1: Meet & Greet Game Night

  • Date: Friday, May 31, 2024

  • Time: 9:00 PM -12:00 AM

  • Location:  Clinton Hall 601 E 189th St, Bronx, NY 10458

  • Activities: Meet and greet with your favorite DJs and content creators, play games. A special spades tournament will take place during this meetup, sign up to register. 


Day 2: Youth Collaboration Event

  • Date: Saturday, June 1st

  • Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

  • Location: Zeta Charter School 1910 Arthur Ave, Bronx, NY 10457

  • Activities: 

    • Leadership Workshop 

    • The Art of DJing workshop  

    • The Lyrics & Beats workshop 

    • Content Creation -Start your creative journey with the BE side hunt game!


Day 3: LIVE Twitch.tv Production

  • Date: Sunday, June 2nd

  • Time: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

  • Location: 120 E 169th St, Bronx, NY 10452

  • Activities: Watch live streams from your favorite DJs and content creators, participate in Q&A sessions, and giveaways.

At the NYC Takeover, the BE side will hold several advancement workshops held for members and the youth that wish to advance their media in the content creator and fine and performing arts field. Each workshop is provided by members and volunteers that will share their expertise or resolutions with scenarios as it relates to performing in the virtual or in person realm of performance. The certification program will provide you with a valid certificate of completion for these workshops. This certification also comes with one BE Side personalized T-Shit, A BE Side Performance Passport, A BE Side creative writing journal, and food voucher during all three events.
