Grantmakers Session + Nonprofit Summit

In this 90-minute interactive session, participants will explore the current landscape of grantmaking partnerships and identify key collaborative features. Through group exercises, participants will map existing collaborations, analyze the types of partnerships in place, and reflect on opportunities to deepen these connections. Using the Collaboration Continuum as a framework, this session will help participants consider the stakes for their respective organizations, the nonprofits they support, and the broader community when they engage in deeper collaboration.  The session will be led by Dr. Deb Mashek, a national leader in nonprofit collaboration and author of <a href="https://www.debmashek.com/book" style="color:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit">Collabor(h)ate</a>. With a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of cross-sector partnerships, Dr. Mashek brings insights from her extensive work as a business advisor and nonprofit executive. She has been featured in numerous national media outlets and frequently speaks on effective collaboration to drive transformative community impact. During this 90-minute session, we will: 1. Map out how Muncie-Delaware County's major grantmakers currently partner with one another. 2. Identify the key collaborative features of these partnerships. 3. Begin exploring ways to deepen the collaborations to advance each organization's impact goals better, benefiting both the nonprofit organizations we support and the broader community we serve. When registering, participants can register for the entire Nonprofit Summit (including lunch).
