MHFA Connect Enrollment  Mental Health First Aid is administered by the National Council of Wellbeing. MHFA participants must register an account with the Council’s j system as part of the certification process and to access their coursework. Within the next 5 business days, you will receive an email from the Mental Health First Aid Team at the National Council of Wellbeing that includes: <ul><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">Confirmation that you are enrolled in the MHFA Connect system.</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">Instructions on how to create an account in MHFA Connect.</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">How to access your MHFA course and course resources. </li></ul> Please note: these email instructions are also provided below but will not work until you receive the email confirmation of your enrollment. They are also provided in a PDF attachment to this email. Self-Paced Pre-WorkYou must complete pre-work in MHFA Connect before you can attend the Instructor-led training. This should take approximately 2 hours. These assignments account for 69% of the course content in MHFA Connect and are an important part of the course experience. Use your email address and enter the temporary password MH1stAid! to sign in.</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">Set Up Your Account: After logging in, read and accept the MHFA Connect Terms of Use. You’ll then be prompted to create a new password and sign in again. Once logged in, complete the Complete Your Profile page. Be sure to click Save when you’re done!</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">Start the Course: <ul><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">From the MHFA Connect homepage, click Start under your enrolled course. Begin by reviewing the course description and learning objectives.</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">Click Start in the top right corner of the Course Description page to proceed to the first module, Welcome to Mental Health First Aid.</li><li style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);box-sizing:inherit">After completing each module, click Next Module in the top right corner to proceed. You must complete each module in sequence. You do not have to complete the Blended pre-work in one sitting; you can step away from the pre-work at any time.</li></ul></li></ol> You will have completed the pre-work when you finish modules 1-9, and your progress reflects 69% completion. Before the course, you are also granted access to the following resources. We strongly encourage learners to review them before the Instructor-led training.
