DOWNTOWN CHIPLEY ANNUAL CHRISTMASPARADE APPLICATION Friday, December 19, 20255:30 p.m. DEADLINE FOR PARADE ENTRIES WILL BE NO LATER THAN   Thursday, December 17, 2025 ALL Motorized Vehicle Parade Entries are required to supply the following information: <ul><li>VEHICLE TAG</li><li>VEHICLE INSURANCE CARRIER</li><li>VEHICLE INSURANCE POLICY </li><li>DRIVER’S NAME</li><li>DRIVER’S LICENSE </li></ul> <ol><li>All parade entries will line up at the Old Chipley High School track (N Railroad Ave) beginning at 4:30pm.</li></ol> <ol><li>When you enter the gates, you will be stopped by our registration volunteers to verify that you have registered for the parade. Blank applications will be available at the gate for those that have not pre-registered.</li></ol> <ol><li>The Northwest Florida Community Hospital is sponsoring the Christmas Fest Parade Contest. If you want to enter your float/vehicle into the contest, you will be assigned a number at the gate.</li></ol> <ol><li>Entry numbers must be attached to the rearview mirror of the driver’s side of the vehicle for visibility of the judges.</li></ol> <ol><li>We will place your vehicle into the parade line-up, wait for the coordinator to place you once you have entered the gate.</li></ol> <ol><li>There is NO throwing of candy or any other items allowed from floats/vehicles. If you wish to distribute candy or other items to parade participants, you must have walkers with your float that can hand them to parade participants on the sidewalks. This is for the safety of all participants. </li></ol> <ol><li>Please do not use any type of Santa or Grinch in your entry. The Chipley Christmas Fest will be providing the last float in the parade that will feature Santa and the Grinch. This will cause some confusion with the children participating. </li></ol> <ol><li>Please do not play any offensive music from your vehicles or floats during the parade.</li></ol> <ol><li>The Christmas Fest Parade will follow the FDOT and City of Chipley approved parade route.</li></ol> <ol><li>The Chipley Christmas Fest will announce the winners of the float contest on Facebook the night of the festival.
