Every year we provide FREE haircuts and hairstyles for the scholars of our community the day before they return to school. This year the GWCCC is partnering with the Help A Single Parent Foundation to not only provide the free games, raffles, activities, and refreshments you have become accustom to year after year, but also all the perks of their Back To School Bookbag Giveaway! We will have a bounce house, face painter, and resource tables! Hair cuts and hair styles will be on a first come first served basis and scholars will receive numbers when they sign in. Sign ups end at 3pm. There will be plenty of bookbags and refreshments for everyone! We are allowing vendors to set up resource tables with information that will benefit the families in our community. These tables will be free. We are also allowing vendors who would like to sell merchandise the opportunity to purchase a vendor spot. DONATIONS FOR THIS EVENT WILL HELP PURCHASE REFRESHMENTS (WATER, JUICE, HOT DOGS, HAMBURGERS ETC), COVER PERMIT COST, AND ENTERTAINMENT FEES.
