REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO ATTENDEES FROM COMPANIES WHICH HAVE PAID THEIR 2025 CSLRA MEMBERSHIP DUES The 2025 CSLRA Fall Train Trip will run round-trip between Rocklin, CA and Reno NV on Union Pacific Railroad Heritage Fleet equipment running in special train service. The approximate train schedule is: Depart Rocklin Station CA at noon on Thursday October 2 and arrive at Reno NV at 1630.  Overnight in Reno and depart Reno Station at on October 3 at 0800, returning to Rocklin at 1215.  Guests may ride the train round-trip or one-way in either direction.  For those with flights to return home from SMF Airport, departure times on October 3 before 1400 are inadvisable.  The nominal driving time from Rocklin to SMF is 40 minutes. Attendees will make their own ground transportation and lodging arrangements for this trip.  For your awareness, hotel rates in and around Sacramento on October 1 are very high because of a music festival - on the order of $500/night or more.  A suggested alternative is to stay in Rocklin, where the room rates are in the $150/night range.  Taking Uber to Rocklin from SMF airport is only about $10 more than taking Uber to downtown Sacramento.  Link to suggested lodging in Rocklin: <a href="https://www.choicehotels.com/california/rocklin/comfort-inn-hotels/cae08?mc=llgoxxpx&amp;msockid=2de3327310e2627c35642458110c6329" target="_blank">Comfort Inn &amp; Suites Rocklin - Roseville</a>  If you have a rental car, there is free parking at Rocklin Station.
