You are welcome to attend build clinics to verify your car's weight, clearance, etc..  Build Rules Car Dimensions-The overall length of the car shall not exceed 7 inches-The overall width of the car shall not exceed 2-3/4 inches-The car must have 1-3/4 inch clearance between the wheels and 3/8 inch clearance underneath the body so it does not rub on the track.  Car Weight - The car in total shall not exceed 5.0 ounces.-The official race scale that is used at car check-in shall be considered final. Car Modifications not allowed-Wheels may not be cut, drilled, beveled or rounded. You may remove seams and imperfections form the wheels. -The axles MAY be altered, polished, and lubricated. No oil lubrication allowed, only dry graphic lubrication. -Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited. -The car shall not ride on any kind of spring. -The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices. -No loose materials of any kind are allowed in or on the car.  Other Race Rules-Once a car passes inspection and is entered into the race, only the race committee members can touch it. -If the car loses a wheel, or is otherwise damaged, the racer shall have 5 minutes to make repairs. -Each car must pass inspection by the official race committee before it will be allowed to compete. -The race committee has the responsibility to disqualify those cars that do not meet these rules.  Refund PolicyRefunds will not be available for this event.
