If I bring a family pet to this event, I assume all responsibility for the pet, it will be leashed, picked up after, &nbsp;and under control at all times.&nbsp; I assume all risks associated with running, walking and/or volunteering with the race day events including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, including high heat or humidity, conditions of the road, potential traffic on the course, pet behavior, all such risks being known and understood by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself, children, pet, &nbsp;and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the library staff, volunteers, vendors, and all sponsors from all claims of liability of any kind arising out of my, my children&rsquo;s, or my pet&rsquo;s participation in the race and/or activities, even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named on the waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for legitimate purposes.
